After completing his piano and electronic music degree, N. Giosmin worked at Centro Tempo Reale in Florence and studied with Piernarciso Masi. Winner of several chamber music competition (among the others: Special Prize Nuova Carish at Città di Roma contest, 2nd prize at Luigi Nono competition [Torino], special prize Giulio Viozzi at Giulio Viozzi competition [Trieste], 2nd prize at Lario in Musica contest [Como]), he started his musical activity as soloist and chamber music player in Italy and abroad. He took master classes with: Stefan Litwin (on Luigi Nono), Ruth Ziesak, Ulrich Eisenlohr, Henner Leyhe, Juergen Glauss, Peter Christopher Runge, Tobias Koch, Dalton Baldwin. Recently he has recorded the complete piano sonatas of Alan Hovhaness and Pal Kadosa for Taukay label. As a composer he has been performed in several festivals in Italy and France. Graduated in philosophy and with a double PHD (italian-french) in musical sciences he has published articles and has given lectures.
He lives and works in France since 2010.
